Gore Posts: Your chance to decide

    Posted: 03 Feb 2020 10:05 AM PST

We recently had a discussion about the rules in this sub and had a lot of good discussions about what is and isn't expected here. One topic that was brought up was whether we should or shouldn't allow gore/injury posts here. You can find arguments on either side of the topic of if they're actually helpful to others in a sense of warning or if they're simply a grab for attention/badge of injury honor.

The moderators have decided that we would like to leave this decision up to the users of the sub. We will treat this like a contest and let the upvotes indicate the future of this rule. Below you'll find two comments: Allow the posting of injuries as long as they're marked NSFW; Disallow all injury/gore posts. We'll leave the voting for this open for 1 week and scores will be hidden to provide an unbiased vote from the users until we're done. When the voting is done, we will reveal final vote counts and amend the sub rules.

The first set if m&t joints for my paulsellers workbench complete and dry fit. After months of dimensioning and prepping lumber by hand it's finally starting to come together. I've enjoyed every moment but it's good to see it start looking like more than a pile of lumber.
