- If you HATE epoxy tables, downvote and scroll on I don’t care. BUT this was my first big table project I made for a Christmas present to my local game shop where I play weekly. It took a lot of effort prepping, building a leak proof form and finishing. I love how it turned out and am super proud.
- We re-sanded the hardwood floors.
- Built a Deck
- Wooden Migaloo #2 Finished !
- Built a staircase!
- Wife wants round coffee table, wife gets round coffee table.
- Japanese Torii Cabinet out of Alder with Walnut wedges.
- How I spent my Saturday:
- First table build, very late Christmas gift to my parents. Used only hand tools.
- New guy at work is also a beekeeper, gifted us wax and honey for christmas. Made this all natural, food safe wood finish from wax and mineral oil.
- Drawer island finished at delivered
- Part of my small shop. It’s not much but it gets the jobs done. And it’s cozy as fuck!
- Purple heart and curly maple keepsake box.
- Working on a new wall art piece. Hand painted pieces of 2x2's. Didn't have a clue what I was getting into!
- I know they're considered "overdone" on this sub, and this one is certainly not perfect - but I made an epoxy-lake coffee table for my father-in-law, shaped like Lough Neagh in Ireland.
- Not sure if Im in the right place, but my wife made a nice little pallet wood accent wall!
- Took others advice and thickened the ash end grain cutting boards. They are now 14”x11”x1.75”
- My "hide those ugly wires" solution
- How many people have built these for themselves?
- Leigh isloloc dovetail
- Pistachio is some pretty rock hard stuff, but looks pretty cool inside.
- Floating shelves I made from some leftover hickory flooring
- Just finished this for my wife of 5 years. Can’t wait to meet her and give this to her on year 5.
- Beeswax and mineral oil finish on some old kitchen knives. The three on the left are the after, the one on the right before.
