Remember to sign your work. I used to really like this table I rescued from a dump pile two years ago. Just found the inscription...now I love this table. It’s maker, TRBoone, was a janitor at the University of Nebraska in 1914. Thanks for the good work, Mr. Boone. You were an artist. Posted: 08 Jan 2020 11:08 AM PST |
My father, an almost perfect woodworker took his own life in the middle of his wood shop last Monday. Us family and friends decided to build his casket using his tools and scrap wood from his shop. He taught me everything I know about woodworking and carpentry. Love you dad Posted: 08 Jan 2020 02:32 PM PST |

I posted this table the other day. A guy asked to see the top. I used a plywood back and started in one corner. Used clamps to get it in right and used glue and finish nails. Mitered the edge and I cut a groove in a 2 x pallet runner for a skirt. All pallet wood except for the backing. Posted: 08 Jan 2020 07:05 PM PST |

Built a simple laundry hamper using dowels. This is only my 4th woodworking project, and i have alot to learn! I use only hand saws, specifically a dozuki japanese handsaw, and it has been difficult getting perfectly even cuts. Need to add a low angle block plane to my tool collection.
