• Made it a few months back and felt no better time to post it!
• Happy 4th of July! Didn't get much love on the cutting board sub when I finished it so thought I would throw it up here!
• Just joined.. I'm from Manchester UK. ����
• I replaced a giant old cabinet in the foyer with a more practical bench
• Dutch door I milled, designed, and built. Had not made an entry door at all before this this. Door is Walnut and the frame/jamb is Batu. Things left to do are the knob, proper center shelf, and another finish coat. Pretty proud of this one as it is for us and not a client
• In case you're considering building a work bench or counter out of Bowling Alley...
• I enclosed half of my carport to make a small workshop.
• Birdhouse I just finished, simple project, used a lot of advanced techniques for my skill level
• My latest shoji lamp. Jatoba frame, basswood kumiko, and mulberry paper
• Finished up the cedar gate today. Happy 4th! ����
• Floor sweep finished. (Turn down volume)
• Starting a new job tomorrow. Left healthcare field and will be a cabinetmaker apprentice.
• Restored old shop drawer/bench. It was left behind at the house I bought couple years ago.
• Hand cut joints with antique tools. Making a buffet table for the beer garden
• Craftsman Sears and Roebuck 1940’s scroll saw.
• Table for my wife’s home office
• My father is a Butsudan (Buddhist altar) craftsman. Today, my father and I delivered a special Butsudan. To see more Butsudan and Butsuzo (sculptures) please come to our group r/butsuzo
• Follow up to first dovetails. Took your recommendations and followed through finishing up on my first try. Only touch up was to trim shoulders on tail piece. The rest was just sanding/planed/glue with saw dust. No other changes to the pins or the tails. Before and after.
• Finished this walk in fitted changing room last month. It turned a very small useless bedroom into a useful, functional space. Hope you think so too! ����
• I made a mini shield from Zelda games in cherry.
• Throne chairs I made for a dining set - heads of table. Gummy cherry and walnut.
• First workbench build. Not completely finished but finally able to start using it as a bench!
