Wood working So I finished this chair a few days ago. |
- So I finished this chair a few days ago.
- Masked Samurai, Log To Installation
- This stuffed animal zoo thing I made for my son and his stuffed animal obsession
- I lurk at estate sales of woodworkers and buy the trash barrels full of cut offs for 10$ that no one else wants. Ain't gonna lie, these boards look way better than the 8$/ft boards I made last week!
- Some bush woodwork we built over the summer.
- Second shutdown closed my wood class 9 days before critique - Progress on my Final Project, thought I'd share was shaping up to be my best work yet (all hand-cut joinery and carved texture :)
- I made a box you can store almost anything in.
- Finally after 4 years..a DVD holder for my wife.
- Sawing Douglas fir
- Mid century modern shit box for my cat
- 10 ft. White oak farmhouse table completed! (the finish is Rubio monocoat: charcoal)
- I have posted a photo of this dining table some time ago. Since Reddit now allows more than one, here are more detailed ones. Cherry, maple, walnut and not a single metal fastener.
- Your dust mask/respirator can also double as a tear free option for cutting onions in thanksgiving
- I made a bathroom vanity! First major project, finally finished and installed. All visible wood is reclaimed from my house.
- Wolf made of spruce wood. I made it for my friend for his birthday. It's designed to hang on the wall. The last photo is from his house.
- A plumb bowl from a tree my uncle and his son planted. His son passed a couple years ago and the tree fell a month or two later. He gave me the wood with a promise to carve a spoon from it. I did that years ago and found some more of the wood stored away so I made him this little bowl as a gift.
- Dabbled around and had lots of tool practice but this was my second proper woodworking project. A Japanese style lamp for my partner’s birthday.
- Greenhouse designed with recycled divided light windows and local cedar
- First attempt at some living room built-ins.
- Auto technician tries to build his daughter's crib.
- Found this jointer on the side of the road (repainted). Knives are still sharp!
- Friendly reminder to start on Christmas gifts if you haven’t already! Made some good progress on this inlaid dovetail chest as a gift to my lovely mother to store the family goblets in!
- I laser cut a test frame for this walnut desk in birch plywood to test out my design... naturally my daughter wanted the “test” desk as a new remote learning desks so behold: TWO laser cut desks.
- Cutting board for the in-laws
