DIY novice. Still have a few things left to do on it but very proud of myself. Posted: 02 Jul 2020 02:19 PM PDT |
This one isn’t going to turn heads or win awards. It was my third project, but the first that I used zero plans for. Just thoughts of what I needed for functionality, and cut as I go. Pretty proud of this one. Posted: 02 Jul 2020 06:19 PM PDT |
I made a floating, waterfall bedside table out of walnut.... Posted: 02 Jul 2020 04:55 PM PDT |

This quarantine job-loss has been a real gift in many ways. I've gotten to make things that I've always wanted to try. This latest being my favorite. I hope you enjoy it! Posted: 02 Jul 2020 08:30 PM PDT |
Current wood project is almost done. Twin end tables for the in-laws. Now I just need to polly them and they will be good to go. I can’t wait to see them in a few years when the cherry wood darkens. Posted: 02 Jul 2020 04:39 PM PDT |
Bluetooth speaker I made for my wife. Belated Mother's Day gift. She loves it! Posted: 02 Jul 2020 09:32 PM PDT |
Since we're posting canoes, here's my Wee Lassie finally off the molds and upright. Posted: 02 Jul 2020 09:45 AM PDT |
First project I've ever done with my dad. His whole life he's never shown any interest in making things, until recently with watching me get back into woodworking. We started by building a new bench for the shop. Nothing fancy, but it was a cool experience that I never thought would happen. Posted: 02 Jul 2020 10:28 PM PDT |
Completed my first set of cornhole boards- wondering if I could start to sell them? Posted: 02 Jul 2020 07:59 PM PDT |
A friend wanted a new patio table to replace an OSB IKEA table destroyed by rain. I made her this. Quartersawn sapele and 48 mortise and tenon joints. She likes it. Side note: this took me about 40 hours. Am I unusually slow at this? Posted: 02 Jul 2020 07:25 PM PDT |
Bunkbed Complete! 9 types of wood, 9 tusked double-tenon joints, 44 through tenons. More time than I’d like to admit but worth every minute. Learned a lot and the Kids are stoked! Posted: 02 Jul 2020 01:40 PM PDT |
Bought a reciprocating saw and slapped this together in about an hour from a single pallet. Unsanded and unfinished but a fun learning project! Posted: 02 Jul 2020 04:28 PM PDT |
