Wood working First time I was able to joint a board square! Celebrating the little things here because my wife could not care less |
- First time I was able to joint a board square! Celebrating the little things here because my wife could not care less
- My first big project with the help of my dad. Might not be perfect but learned a lot and it is up to code
- Much like measure twice cut once, I now add ‘check the pattern before you glue’
- Little bit different type of wood working. 100% custom Dodge Ram sub box I built and covered today. What ya think!
- Decided to teach myself to carve. Clearly need work, but satisfying.
- I see all your beautiful custom made work benches and raise you my temporary yard setup (2 year old plywood scrap on sawhorses)
- My first ever wood working project, freshman in hs, I made a cutting board.
- Finally finished this beast! 126"x56" and about 350lb. No glue, no screws, let's see how long it lasts!
- Who’s laughing now
- Part of my Erosion Series. Sycamore, turned, pierced, pyrocarved and rustic finish.
- The Most Incredible Gift Ever
- A sign I made for a local business.
- Oak laundry hamper I finished recently
- Made a lamp out of some 'scrap' walnut
- I made a thing
- I chicken coop I made
- Appalachian Settin' Chair
- Countertop height and frustration. I hate this kitchen floor and cabs. I measure and when we picked up a tile sample, I measured that to top of stove. Took the difference off the riser I made to create the toe kick. Comes up 1/4" low. I like it but man I need to get better at measuring. 3 more to go
- A vase turned out of Iroko and Walnut. Roughly 60 cm tall and 35 cm wide. I turned this in my school, which was also my second ever time turning segmented pieces.
- My very first project. Made a few years ago. I was proud of it. Wanted to share it here.
- Did a cherry serving tray with some handles, finished with a mineral oil bath and a coat of beeswax. 30 x 11 finished, with a garbage bag full of sawdust to show for it
- My first woodworking project ever…then it got beat up. Advice needed.
- Made a downdraft box a couple weeks ago. Finally got to test it out the other day.
- I made this “water wheel” for the museum I work at
