    Ever have a project with a "customer" that isn't paying for materials or labor that makes you question whether you want to keep doing this sort of thing? Sometimes I serious contemplate chucking it in the yard, setting it on fire, and sending the video to them.

    I did an experiment as I required some darker wood. Both of these pieces are identical oak, the left one was treated with ammonia fumes for 24 hours, the right one wasn’t. Both of them Simply oiled with no further finishing.
