    When your daughter tells you that you are going to be a grandparent the response is what can I build. A crib and a changing table dresser was the order. Solid hard maple with 3" posts. It should last a while.

    To learn router basics, I made a Mahogany knock-down Toddler Tower. Took me way too long! It can be disassembled and stored flat, but has minimal visible hardware when assembled.

    I just wanted to say you all are really nice and it makes me happy. Hopefully I'm not jinxing myself rn but usually when I post a question on a sub I get haters and judgement but I received a lot of help and no negative comments on my beginner question.
