    Saw this veneer lamp in a design store for $200. Took a picture and decided.. I can do that! Happy with the result. $5 in pine veneer, $8 for the bulb and free pine scraps laying around.

    Hey there fellow woodworkers. I make wooden bottle koozies. I put a foam insulating layer on the inside that is peel and stick. It is rather difficult to get in place evenly. Any ideas of how to do this or a more effective solution? Thanks!

    After ~25 years of aligning planets I finally had the privilege of participating in the milling of this ~1000 year old 3.5m x 1m (diameter) Huon Pine log into 55mm slabs. The smell was/is amazing.

    Got taken down for asking if it was walnut. Milled my first log today ans happened to be this beautiful black walnut. Have about 5 logs left after this one.
