- Landlord wouldn't let me hang my tv on the wall, made an entertainment center instead
- Finally did something I’ve wanted to do for a while: make my own furniture
- 1 of 2 nightstands. Not as good as some things on here but it's the first thing I've truly built myself and I'm proud
- 3d printed workbench accessories
- Oak coffee table) my work
- Library bookshelf build for wife's birthday (build in comments)
- From Sketchup drawing to a finished piece. The drawing is what the client and I agreed on and the cabinet is what they eventually picked up.
- You know what they say... “Measure once, go to Lowe’s twice!”
- Our kids are starting to climb into our queen sized bed at night. So my wife suggested I make a bigger one. I’m actually pretty proud of this one :) inset drawers and continuous grain across drawer faces.
- The idea started out simple enough, make a cool keepsake for my mom after she helped with a bunch of vaccine clinics. She showed her friends at the hospital and now I’m in mass production mode making them for FREE to all healthcare workers!!
- Picked up a couple Japanese saws and chisels from a guy here and he hooked me up with some free chisels that were in rough shape so I spent a good chunk of time restoring them today. (Two pics)
- Since people wanted to see the completed desk. Here it is. Solid cherry and 60 inches long and 30 inches wide. Top is 1.25 thick.
- Obligatory first project post.
- We just finished building the flip-top tool stand that my daughter designed. It handles some pretty large tools and will be an excellent addition to the wood shop.
- A pair of mud kitchens for my niece and nephew. Christmas gifts that are only 4 months late!
- After & before of Fireplace job I just completed
- Shop bench/home for Festool
- This project had a lot of “firsts” for me. First time kerf bending, and first time veneering. I love woodworking because there is endless progression and always things to improve on
- Song of lathe and fire: Ash + shou sugi ban (yakisugi)
- My first “real” furniture build
- Using a bit of scrap wood to improve dust collection on the router.
- Made this Walnut dovetail box...
- Post and rail fencing with homemade 4 foot gate
- Fire pit table. Made of cedar and stained in Navy with some sanding to reveal grain.
