Wood working A recent pool table we built |
- A recent pool table we built
- Built a cedar planter to add some nice curb appeal to my home
- Not what you usually see in this sub but I did use my shop and tools on a ton of this playroom for my 5 year old son
- Building and installing a 24’ ft x 29” fluted column that was missing. One of the top 3 most difficult jobs of my career.
- Black walnut entry way bench with Danish cord
- A client wanted a full set of built-ins done because he converted his attic into a bedroom and a recording studio! This was the job that pushed me into full employment and by far this biggest job I've done on my own. Here are some before & Afters!
- I made a mantel - spalted maple
- Ok maybe beer caddy's have come and gone, but I always wanted a really nice one, finally made one for my self, and to be honest, I can't stop looking at. Hope you all enjoy it too.
- Built for my parents’ retirement home. They never stopped displaying my art projects in their kitchen.
- Some walnut from some trees I planted 30 years ago. Sold the property and saw that the new owners were cutting down the trees. I told him I planted them and he said come and get what you want. First load down and sealed. Hoping to get more before he gets someone else to cut it up. Bittersweet
- Another bowl with feet. Since there was a concern about these bowls simply running off, some security measures were added.
- Just wanted to show some of my dads woodworking. There house caught fire about 2 years ago. We gutted it an made it into a cabin. It has drywall in the bedrooms an that’s it. Rest is all wood. He made all the cedar banister railing an spindles. He is a talented feller that’s for sure!
- An Oak platter that I have created a stepped rainbow pattern coloured using spirit stains. This is another piece towards my Art project work
- Knots that look like paw prints
- Built this drawer organizer for our remodeled kitchen. First time making box joints. It's not perfect, but I love seeing it every day when I open our drawer.
- Pleased with my first attempt at dovetails
- Someone put this old Delta tablesaw out with the trash. So I fixed it up and built a new fence for it. Beats the pants off my old harbor freight saw!
- Saw a post a couple months ago that inspired me to make my own pedal board. Pretty happy with how it came out. Oak frame and Birch ply top and bottom.
- Mid-century entertainment center made from raw oak wood flooring with black walnut legs. This is my first piece of furniture.
- Sanding the coach roof of a Hallberg-Rassy 382.
- Walnut built in
- Fun little step stool to compliment custom bed frame
- Baltic end grain floating desk
- Only took a new $3k+ Sawstop, freezing garage temps, and time to make first cabinet for wife's b-day. It was in December.
