- Weekly Quick Questions, Wood ID, and Deal or No Deal /r/Woodworking Megathread
- Nothing very impressive but I’ve never done woodworking before, this weekend I spent a day with my dad turning and making this cup. I love it and might have found a new hobby!
- Finally finished part of my "covid lockdown" project.
- Wife wanted a shelf. Wife gets a shelf.
- “Live Laugh Love” just didn’t feel right. First time using a scroll saw. So satisfying!
- Friend needed a new screen door. Designed and made her one.
- Handmade Dovetail Drawer, running so smoothly that the air trapped within is giving it a soft-close feel to it. Made it as part of my journeyman's test (final test) for my joiners education exam
- First time making a bass from my old skateboards and NZ native woods.
- My friend gave me some rusty old bench ends to add to my scrap pile. Decided to restore it instead.
- Before and after. This is my first real woodworking project. What do yall think?
- New to turning. Bowl three. Figured I would post here so you all can see.
- My first table. Mid-Century Modern style coffee table with walnut and maple. Parents said it was outdated but I think it’s making a comeback.
- First time on a scroll saw! Gift for my dad
- The magic of sanding to 3000 grit
- Advice from an old guy, new to Reddit
- Trebuchet I made the day before it was due for a physics class in high school (2015) threw a softball over 130 yards and the record still holds.
- I made a console shelf to sit around my subwoofer. Plenty of character flaws but I'm proud of how it turned out
- I built a Monastery Table and Bench for my daughter's new apartment. My most ambitious project to date. imgur.com
- You will never need all those clamps
- Sister said her atrium was boring, french cleat wall with fold up bar, planter boxes to come.
- I’m not a wood worker, but I worked this wood real good.
- Coat hanger
- My first attempt at box joints for a school project. They arent perfect but covid shut downs sorta cut the semester short and given the time I spent I'm pretty proud
- The Squirrel bench is a success!
- Made this for the wife “hickory” then found out she wanted to paint broke my heart.
- Puzzle coasters

Advice from an old guy, new to Reddit Posted: 18 Jan 2021 05:19 AM PST You may have heard this before but always worth repeating. Buy yourself some good ear protection. I never wore any ear protection until the last few years. I started to save what's left of my hearing. I have a constant ring that makes it hard to hear normal conversations and I have lost the high end range. I wish someone would have given me this advice back in the day. [link] [comments] | ||
