    On this unique project I have combined Asanoha pattern with custom made motifs to create this elegant Shoji lamp. The lamp consists of 294 pieces of thin walnut, bamboo and cedar strips and only reclaimed wood utilized with no paint to preserve the natural look. 30cm*14cm*14cm

    First post. Just finished this Shop stool made of hickory. All M&T construction - walnut wedged tenons holding the seat. You can see the MANY imperfections if you zoom in but... it’s shop furniture. Built to be sturdy not to be pretty.

    Made cutting boards as Christmas gifts for family and friends this year. Just couldn’t let this one go. Zebra wood and Peruvian walnut with a curly maple accent.

    A few pics of my first pipe of 2021, a new JD Allred design I'm calling an Acorn. This pipe is made with Strawberry briar and has a sandblasted body with a smooth bowl cap and shank face. The shank face also has a "Goblin" acrylic inlay with matching acrylic stem band and chamber port.

    This is the first project I fully designed and built; finished end of 2020. I wanted to make a queen bed with storage that I could move in a small car. Breaks into 4 drawer boxes and one long storage box along the top. Maple ply and mixed hardwood veneers.

    I enjoy finding unique ways to work with defects in the wood. So I turned a bowl and put it where a knot was, and then carved out a rotten spot turning it into a feature. Coffee table made with reclaimed white ash, with a turned mahogany bowl

    It’s the small things about woodworking that make me love it. Spent more time on this under bevel corner than on the entire panel. Satisfaction comes in small sizes.

    Walnut, Cherry, Purple Heart and Hard Maple End Grain Cutting Board I did for a very happy customer. Used Odie’s Super Penetrating Oil, the the Original Oil, and finished with the Odie’s Wood Wax.
