Wood working I made a new hockey themed bottle opener. |
- I made a new hockey themed bottle opener.
- I built some baby gates. The gates will be up for a couple years so I wanted them to look nicer than the standard plastic ones. I like the look of geometric wall art so this was my attempt to combine them. When we no longer need the gates we can hang them on the wall.
- Helped the step granddaughter make a shot glass display for her moms birthday. Pine with purple heart. Brass nails for decoration. First coat of linseed oil applied. Now she wants to make a cutting board. Glad shes likes being in the woodshop.
- Greenhouse I just finished building (slide for more photos)
- The inspiration for so many people.
- My father's side project some years back. I helped as much as a 17 year old was able to.
- COVID Boredom has me carving canoe paddles, with tools I never knew existed.
- Obligatory first dovetail
- Mortise and tenon doors and side lights for a Lord & Burnham greenhouse facade restoration. Also a few pics of the transom window still in the works. Made from sapele mahogany
- Flat sawn balusters and railings I made.
- First piece of furniture that wasn’t made for my own house. Walnut coffee table made for a friend
- My wife needed a grooming tote for her horse, so I made her one after getting inspired by toolboxes I’ve seen here. Cedar for lightness with a walnut inlay and handle for strength. Simple clear poly coat finish.
- Autism "puzzle" table - Made for our son's (who has Autism) aide. Watered down acrylic paints for "stain" and routed groves for the full puzzle look.
- Book matched walnut veneer credenza... what do you guys think?
- First attempt at furniture for inside my home. Needed some storage in my office and had some air dried walnut that was begging to be used!
- Record player & amp stand with shelves for records
- First bowtie inlays! shoutout to wood glue and sawdust for hiding my numerous mistakes
- Built this kitchen island for a customer, plywood cabinet, poplar face and walnut top.
- Building a CLC 10’ Hybrid Kayak
- Wedding arch I just finished for my backyard wedding next week. Not super fancy, but I’m happy with it
- Perfect Joinery is hard.
- Sycamore dining table
- End grain brick cutting board.
- Just finished making this dope little vertical garden for my backyard!
