    I recently moved to a new state, and a patient in my family medicine clinic made this for me as a “welcome to town” gesture. I heard y’all might have some advice on how to maintain this gem properly? It’s made of plum wood in case that makes a difference.

    As a carpenter, building the stairs was one thing, but staining and finishing the railing and treads was a good (and eye-opening) introduction into what a craft woodworking is.

    Finished the big boy top. Under bevel added. Mis placed my biscuit and had to patch. But that turned out great!! 70” round top in the books!

    Just realized that my big COVID project is finally done! Doors and drawer fronts were made 100% with hand tools, shelves are my own design, and cabinets are from Ikea. The counter is stained rubber wood. The lighting is dimmable, and voice controlled.
