    I decided to make my brother his Christmas present instead of buying one. No woodwork experience (never too old to ask dad to help), but I'm proud of how it turned out!

    Not a build, but thanks to everyone who helped me with my first refinishing project! Dining table bought secondhand. Stripped a bad black paint job off, sanded the original finish, and stained with a darker color to match modern chairs.

    Media console made from solid cherry. I may be a minimalist, but I always think adding cabinet handles is a visual distraction. Here I used Blum tip-on push to open hardware.

    A little side table I've just finished making. Timber is all recycled/offcuts from building sites. Jarrah (I'm pretty sure), Kwila, Cedar & Pine. Final finish is Coconut oil.
