While the moderators here remove dozens of posts every day for violating the rules (mostly wood ID and tool score posts), we always try to inform the user that the post was removed via a comment or a PM.

However since Friday Reddit's spam filter, which we have no control over unfortunately, has been going crazy removing posts. The moderation team has been checking the queue and pulling out posts more frequently, but if your post isn't showing up and doesn't violate any of the posting guidelines, send a message through to modmail

In addition I have adjusted the settings on the spam filter to low per reddit admins recommendations for the time being. This means more spam will get through. If you see something, report it. It will help the mods identify it quicker and remove it

This is pretty annoying and hopefully the Reddit Admins can identify and fix the issue sooner than later.

From the design, to the build, this is my new gem. I am in love with this thing! Both the walnut and the curly maple are continuous grain wrap around.

Made this walnut table top for a friend of mine to use as a coffee table. He works with metal and made the frame himself. Love the way the walnut grain looks! He told me he finished it with Odie’s oil which I’ve never used before but will be in the future!

A hammer for my bestest buddy. It's some old standing pine for the head and maple for the handle. I drug it out from a burn pile in the lot behind my house

As a newer woodworker, I continue to be shocked by how good a project looks after it goes through the planer. Such a magical machine. Here’s a oddly shaped charcuterie board in the making.
