    Built my son's a bunk bed this weekend. All Doug fir construction lumber. All half lap joinery with lag bolts for the major fasteners.

    Built my first canoe paddle using a belt sander and Spokeshave. Needs 4 more oil coats. Present for my GF for christmas, needed to share this with someone so I don't spill the beans!

    My dad hand carved this star for me from a single piece of wood, threaded wire through and carved a box to go with it. It has a tiny hole drilled in one of the ends to mount it. He has built houses and every piece of wooden furniture in my parent's house. He has incredible talent.
