    Coffee bar I’ve been working on for the last couple of weeks. This is the most difficult project I’ve done without having my dad to help me and I’m pretty proud of it.

    A few months ago my gf said she wanted a $450 kitchen island from ikea. I said he'll no I can make one better for cheaper. $200 in wood +$150 in other materials +$500 in tools + 2 months I said screw it, it's done for now. It doesn't wobble and it's moderately flat.

    One of my favorite things to build - this is a Jefferson Bookstand. Thomas Jefferson had this designed so he could study multiple texts at the same time. I always tell people it’s the primitive version of having multiple browser tabs open!

    My brother was a wood worker/carver/turner. He passed away and I used two pieces of wood that were on his carving bench, along with resin, to make his kids journals with some of his ashes in the resin. (Anyone know what two types of wood these are?)
