• Wood rack in the winter. Flip it and it is a bar height table in the summer.
• Put the finishing touches on the canoe I've been working on for the last 6 months. Can't wait to get it in the water!
• I carved a wooden Crewmate, not sus (Among Us)
• First attempt at large dovetails, butterflies and inlay. Came out fairly decent. Bench for a coworker from a walnut on his property.
• 3D game table (COVID sanity project)
• A chess board made entirely from leftovers and off-cuts
• Coffee bar I’ve been working on for the last couple of weeks. This is the most difficult project I’ve done without having my dad to help me and I’m pretty proud of it.
• A few months ago my gf said she wanted a $450 kitchen island from ikea. I said he'll no I can make one better for cheaper. $200 in wood +$150 in other materials +$500 in tools + 2 months I said screw it, it's done for now. It doesn't wobble and it's moderately flat.
• One of my favorite things to build - this is a Jefferson Bookstand. Thomas Jefferson had this designed so he could study multiple texts at the same time. I always tell people it’s the primitive version of having multiple browser tabs open!
• I know there is a portion of the population out there who detests the finishing process, but there's just something cathartic about it.
• Made a power tool storage cabinet for work. Planning on wall mounting it.
• I made Shark in wood with epoxy resin
• Just finished a new red oak vanity for our bathroom
• My first project that’s not a deck - completed - farm house style king bed frame
• Second project complete. King size farmhouse bed
• 1993 Grizzly G1073 I picked up for $200 today! Needs some TLC but it all works (all 450 pounds of it)
• Bench with cnc carved geometric pattern filled with dyed epoxy resin.
• My sister is the builder in the family. Managed to throw this together with her left over scraps for my first build. Its not even and its not perfect, but it works.
• My first attempt at making cutting boards.
• We had sliding barn doors on our shop but they let too much cold air in. Made these new French doors over the last two day to tighten things up.
• Parrot on a workbench with his workbench building a birdhouse.
• Not wood, but a woodworking tool! Saved myself $70 and built a froe from some scrap metal! Not sure how long it will last, but if it’s free it’s for me!
• My first Joiner's Mallet made of old beech pallet wood and mysterious hardwood.
• My brother was a wood worker/carver/turner. He passed away and I used two pieces of wood that were on his carving bench, along with resin, to make his kids journals with some of his ashes in the resin. (Anyone know what two types of wood these are?)
• Any fans of Banksy here? Cnc cut, epoxy, and led work done on a scrap piece of oak.
