- Just finished this anniversary present. It’s a model of us kayaking in the sea caves of Apostle Islands and Pictured Rocks. My first time working with wood and I think it turned out pretty well
- An end grain cutting board I got to make with my dad. First thing we’ve made in 10 years together. This ones for mom!
- My first project
- My first scroll saw project, Boba Fett intarsia with natural and stained colors. Tribute to piece by u/NinjaTurtleNerd
- I made a place to sit
- I turned my first wood ever. Cherry lid for this jar I also made.
- A fun and challenging bit of work. Butternut panels, Ash balusters, Cherry railing and stair pieces.
- “Lemon Desk,” my first project.
- Obligatory ‘First Dovetail!’ post. Not perfect but I think it turned out well enough.
- Improved the musicality of some of my scrap wood.
- First furniture commission
- Just finished a wood resin pendant
- Frankensteined organizational system. Had a couple of “Welp...” moments but for my first attempt at organizing my tools, it ain’t half bad.
- On the last mile of an insane 56x25" butcher block
- Olive wood entertainment center (with "floating" shelves) - Gif
- An average day in my average garage.
- Tried dove tailing for the first time. 1st and 4th joint of a box
- I got an Apple Pencil for grading papers on my iPad and it likes to roll. Made two pen rests out of Purple Heart and Patagonian Rosewood. Sealed with GF satin. Really basic, but nice to make something small and useful.
- I made some French cleats as well as some tool organizers to go with it! My dad had been talking about them for months and now that I have my own space for a shop I decided to give it a go! Super happy with how it turned out, but I've still got a lot of tools to organize!
- OWL made out of Birchwood 11 layers and 4 days later
- A small cutting board
- This duck house, has tested my limits!
- Dump mulch pile find. 9 foot rough slab. About 300 lbs. Only a few more hours of router work to see what I actually have. No bark so I'm not sure on species. Thinking maple or hackberry.
- I made a Doctor Who TARDIS bird feeder but we had to bring it in because the crows kept attacking it
