Wood working Built a bowling lane in my back yard! |
- Built a bowling lane in my back yard!
- Timber framing our own cabin off the grid. It’s come a long way!
- In the fall, I switched school and majors and had the chance to make my first woodworking project since middle school. Made a coffee table and found my new passion in furniture/home goods design. This lil guy started all that!
- Chainsaw Carved Chair Made From Single Piece of Wood
- Made a banana, cutting board for scale.
- A George Nelson inspired original build. All hand tools as I don’t have room for a table saw...and they scare me!
- The process... Spent the day turning ash into large slabs.
- First mallet, Rosewood/maple. Pretty proud of this one.
- First chess set!
- Obligatory first hand-cut dovetails
- I was finally able to upgrade from my portable job site to a “real” table saw. Pretty happy with my purchase.
- Discovered I liked Tea and got tired of a Cardboard box.
- Walnut hallway table. A quarantine project.
- Over the weekend I made this thing (part 2)
- Got tired of ruining rags and paying for paper towels for oils and poly, so I bought acoustic foam panels for $10 and cut them up. They work better and are way cheaper.
- Outdoor sectional I made for my back porch with a whole lot of joinery
- Just finished this bar for my upstairs media room. Not my first project, didn’t do it in a weekend.
- Brand new to wood working. Here is my recently completed cedar planter box
- Pulled some Cherry Burls out of the woods today that were on a downed tree. Can't wait to get these things processed down.
- How the f do you guys do it???
- I made a table for our back patio out of some industrial pallets I broke down a couple years ago.
- It ain’t much, but it’s honest work. The logs are a split between urban salvage, and cut and pulled off my bush lot, located in Eastern Ontario.
- Not the prettiest Covid project but I definitely learned a lot from my very first wood project.
- My first project - the barn door crate - I learned a lot in going from “scared to table saw” to confidently changing dimensions on the fly.
- Why buy a cat tree when you can build one
