I built this stool about a year and a half ago and am just getting around to posting it. The entire thing is made from basswood; the legs are each 41 laminated strips and the seat and feet are solid pieces that were carved/milled. Link to the design and build process in the comments. A few days after I moved home from college due to Covid,l I got the news my best friend committed suicide. Making things is the only thing keeping me relatively sane. My dad, 72, is having open heart surgery early tomorrow morning. I've been really anxious because due to the coronavirus, I can't be there with him.
