    My girlfriends daughter asked for a wooden sword. I got a bit carried away. Oak 1x3s with cherry and walnut fittings. Handles are wrapped in leather.

    My tenth total attempt at hand dovetails and best ive done yet.. i actually had to mallet them into place for once. Just decided to try and teach myself and realizing a quality saw makes all the difference. (Disclaimer: im not a woodworker but i want to build quality stuff!

    Made a replacement latch for my cooler that broke using nothing but a coping saw and a dremel. I'm an aspiring woodworker but by no means equiped or practising, so I'm proud of this.

    Wood working and carpentry are certainly not the same thing. I was asked to make a simple kitchenette counter with cheap wood. It was a daunting task since I’ve never done it before. They were happy so that’s all that matters.
