    Thought I’d just share this for the woodworkers just starting out. Painters tape first, anything stronger could peel wood off. Then this red rubber tape, duct tape would work too. Painters tape has a tendency to rip when you close the joint. The red tape just bends

    Made new scales for a swiss army knife with some scraps of red oak flooring. Finished with boiled linseed oil and shellac.
