- Finished my first shelf. Not too shabby.
- [OC] Built My Own Custom D&D Table!
- I finished a milestone project! 2 campaign chairs and matching stools.
- Red oak front bar
- Mug completed. Time for a beer!
- Are we doing splined boxes? Padauk ring box with maple splines and dividers for the wife
- I’ve been on a box building spree since quarantine started.
- Mini Cabinet/PC Case, a tight fit!
- Built a new desk for my home office from wood scrapped off an industrial pallet.
- Making a walnut cabinet. Watching it come to life is always so gratifying.
- Silky smooth
- 130 year old doug fir remilled into treads
- My first big build. 2x4 and barn wood coffee table.
- My latest project
- Took quite a few late nights, but 2 weeks later Captain Hooks ship was all done. It’s hard to beat the look of western redwood cedar. Feel free to AMA about the build.
- First piece of furniture I’ve built. I feel accomplished
- New corner shelves!
- Little toy truck
- Thought I’d just share this for the woodworkers just starting out. Painters tape first, anything stronger could peel wood off. Then this red rubber tape, duct tape would work too. Painters tape has a tendency to rip when you close the joint. The red tape just bends
- My wife recently got into watercolors and started practicing with images from Star Wars. So for our 1st anniversary, I built her this “paint caddy.”
- Built my daughter a toy from her favorite TV Show
- Dresser complete, luckily I beat the baby getting it there.
- Made new scales for a swiss army knife with some scraps of red oak flooring. Finished with boiled linseed oil and shellac.
