Wood working Drill press I finished restoring recently |
- Drill press I finished restoring recently
- Test run of a car I’m working on
- First coffee table built from scratch, 30mm thick solid oak with 40mm pine legs. Milled from fallen tree with alaskan mill and dried in self built solar kiln. I know I am blowing my own horn but........ 'I DID THIS'
- My attempt at rotating squares. Actually harder than it looks. And it looks hard.
- Some table legs I made for a live edge table top that I bought from a liquidation company for $80
- Didn't have anything to hit chisels with at work so I whipped up a mallet! Some old used maple trim I found lying around and some discarded plastic from the hockey rink. Also first time posting!
- Mid Century style dog bed. She actually likes it :’)
- Workbench
- Made a self quarantine birdhouse with my daughter
- My Saturday project. Far from great, but I learned a lot from this one and really enjoyed the fitting and shaping process.
- Making the most of scraps
- My workbench!!
- Finished my first ever woodworking project today. I probably should have started with something easier. Spanish cedar and sapele mahogany
- N95 masks
- Anyone else getting out that "before I die I will make something with this" piece of wood this weekend just in case that date got moved up suddenly?
- My first bowl (Aspen)
- First project - maple, yellow heart and Walnut
- Project 3 - getting ready for summer. Douglas fir deck furniture. Honing in my skills before buying nicer woods
- Spending quarantine time making some cutting boards for my wife. This is my first real woodworking project.
- Connect Four game set
- My 4 year old can’t go to school. We built this monstrosity today. Nothing serious, just to keep him occupied.
- Let the projects begin! Roughly 300 bd ft 5/4 of Walnut
- Wall mount work bench
- Better late than never

Posted: 21 Mar 2020 04:25 PM PDT Hey all I haven't seen any posts on here about masks. I looked around and found out I had a sleeve of N95 masks in the drawer for when I varnish. I called the local hospital and they were absolutely happy to take my 7 masks. Look in your drawers it can really help people. I have seen hospitals saying they are going to be down to bandanas soon.
