    Cut and raised my first hammerbeam last week. I know it's not a river table, but I'm still proud.

    5 years ago I was asked to build a wooden pirate ��‍☠️ ship. I live on the open Prairies of Southern Alberta so I don’t get to see many ships.. I decided to frame the hull then jigsaw vertical 2x8 to achieve the shape, then I added cedar horizontal 1/4” slats x 2 layers that I ripped down on a saw.

    My Stepdad's father passed away a few years ago. We finally got around to cleaning his shop. These were some of his creations. I hope to be as talented as him.

    Otter on the Stour. Made from multiple layers of birch ply and oak veneers. Waking along the river at Christmas was my inspiration for this wall sculpture.
