- Organizing my workshop on a tight budget. I made these projects using mostly scrap and offcuts.
- Saw it on amazon, decided I could do it better.
- Wanted to make something completely different, had a happy little accident, and made shelves instead
- Locally sourced, organic, cold pressed, shop to table desk.
- Walnut + Cherry Dresser
- When you mill all your lumber flat and get this satisfying sound
- Fox and Squirrels In The Round
- Finished Anarchist's Workbench
- First cutting board
- Behold! My Stupid Hammer
- I made a 16’ long double picnic table. Haven’t seen one like it before and thought it turned out pretty great.
- My proudest build to date! Walnut and epoxy top. White oak legs and wireless charging. Inspired by Carlos Mollino
- I built a new miter saw station.
- Live edge farm table. Built from scratch.
- Chess Board - Rosewood & Cherry
- Made this longboard for my son. Never done anything like this before. It’s far from perfect but my son loves it.
- My first successful pipe!
- My dad's table that he built for my mom out of trees we cut down at my old home in Virginia. Poplar
- HELP! Any idea how to fix this? Accidentally built my coffee table upside down.
- Old to new, useless to useful, kept from threw, ugly to beautiful
- Finally got to make a guitar to keep for myself, and I love it!
- Wood shed
- *Second Project* - Built in Cabinet with adjustable shelves & desk grommet for hdmi that connects to TV through the wall. Side shelving pre-built, but I put new doors on to match (before pics at the end)

Posted: 08 Sep 2021 03:15 PM PDT My wife is a 30+ years critical care nurse. Covid caused a lot of anxiety for her, because she took care of the sickest cases in the ICU. We had talked about a she shed for a while and decided this was a good time to build it. Took her mind off her patients and gave her something to look forward to. It could also be a quarantine spot if she needed it. I am a cabinetmaker, not a construction carpenter so go easy on me. It is 8x10' and setting on pier blocks. I used a lot of salvage materials: pier blocks, windows from a WWII barracks, door from Craigslist, insulation from a church remodel. Flooring was cdx ply turned into V tongue in groove with a router cutter. Chandelier from Craigslist. I built louvers with doors instead of operable windows just for fun. I built all the cabinets, bench cushions and did all the finishing and painting. She loves it and so do the grand kids. I am in the dog house with other husbands, but I had fun!
