- Here is a time-lapse of a water powered sawmill I'm working at in action.
- I took different ideas from some YouTube videos and made my own mobile mitre saw work station. I’m not very experienced but I’m happy with how it turned out!
- I call it a Spicy Susan.
- Some boxes and pieces of Marquetry I have been working on, thanks for looking!
- Newbie; got some reclaimed cedar and made the Cat Paradise
- First dovetail. Made a bunch of mistakes and learned a lot. It’s gappy but i’ll take it
- Honeycomb board with 6 different resin colours I just finished!
- I delivered a Sapele outdoor table as a birthday/late Mother’s Day gift for my mom.
- Tasmanian Oak with a Silky Oak inlay. Still needs a few more coats of polish.
- First project, really pleased with our new sofa table. Learned a lot, also hole-saws are... difficult.
- I think she’s finished now just gotta stain it
- First project, Platonic solids from solid wood
- Cantilevered seat hardware from Benchcrafted. Made the seat from quarter sawn cherry to match the tool chest. Really nice not tripping on a stool in a small shop.
- Stash box concept. Ash, Poplar and brass
- I carved this unicorn from lime wood, the smaller is what I carved 4 years ago. Link to process video in comments
- Since I was asked to show it finished. Here it is except for the hardware that I am waiting for.
- Finished the Jack Box toybox for my boy.
- My pops and I found some scrap fence boards. His home away from home. WIP.
- Mostly a post for newbs. This is just an example of wood movement. When I installed these cabinet doors in the winter all the gaps were 1/8" or about 3mm. Since then they've absorbed some summer moisture and expanded. Now the gaps are closer to 1/16" or 1.7mm. They'll return to their original size.
- Knocked them right off my head. Would have lost my eye for sure. Wear your glasses kids.
- Son of a …. I was so close to being done this ladder.
- So I’m disappointed but since it is literally one of the first real woodworks I’ve created, I figure getting feedback is important. Got glue all over, tried to hand sand it off, however it evidently messed up the staining quite a bit. Any advice on my next one?
- Siberian Elm desk I just finished. With a Russian Olive bowtie. Pretty happy how it turned out
