- My first 3D cutting board. It turned out alright. This was by far the most satisfying step.
- My two hobbies are DnD and woodworking. Here's my prototype for a spiral staircase dice tower.
- “Why are you bringing home that garbage (wood)?” she said…
- Napkin Mountain holder
- Second crack at a chess board
- A new deck for my grandparents (first time making stairs)
- We all have to start somewhere. This was the first time that I ever built anything that didn’t come with instructions. All scrap wood that was given to me by a friend.
- 7’0” reclaimed redwood surfboard, hollow-framed, ready to surf
- New favorite tool. My chainsaw and beam-cutting jig paid for itself in one evening. 8"x8"x16' white oak beam.
- I’m kind of a bird nerd and my gf made me a loon in woodshop. My new favorite thing
- Under stairs storage
- Plant pot made from walnut
- DIY cornhole boards
- A simple candle holder. Mohagany and maple.
- Planter box for peppers!
- Progress on my kayak. A lot of glue, a lot of planing, a lot of milling, a lot of whiskey
- Hat rack of scrap black walnut...
- Dovetails
- First attempt at tongue and groove shaker doors and concealed hinges. Red Oak Tall Cabinet
- Had some old internals and hardware from a peavy guitar amp and some reclaimed pine laying around so I made this
- 2nd attempt at a trunk /coffee table using pallet wood, this took a while and also my first attempt at staining. I thought it was a good idea to mismatch the wood color of the bottom vs the top... I don't know how I feel about it. What do you all think?
- First big project!
- Just a reminder that sharp tools and your soft, supple flesh don’t mix…
- Floating beetle kill pine nightstands
