    2 months later, finally finished these modern walnut & maple night stands. Dovetails & box joints. Made from locally sourced, rough sawn slabs. Hardest project by far, but very rewarding.

    "The Liberty Tree" I'm not going to lie, I had to google "Liberty Tree" when this request came in. :) The Draper Philharmonic & Choral Society asked if i could make a "Liberty Tree" for their upcoming concert series. Wire and birchwood. Donated to ArtForOUR.org.

    At long last the marking knife was delivered to its owner today. Damascus steel, cocobolo scales with brass pins, mahogany presentation box with maple and ebony tabs, all finished in natural shellac. It's very slick, ive cut myself with it several.times just making it.
