I lot of people won't understand

Edit - Darn, can't fix the title to "A lot of people won't understand" and added a couple additionals 'costs'.

    What I see:

Desk with potential; hours of therapy; bringing something back to life; priceless gift for my daughter; a great deal!

    What others see:

Cheap old desk; weeks of noise; daily mess/smell in the garage; not modern; Horrible deal - $30 for the desk - $30 for sandpaper - $30 in stain/polish - $25 for stripper - $25 for Replacement hardware AND 60 hours of your time.
