Wood working Some of you asked |
- Some of you asked
- My covid (plus a couple of months) project is finally done!
- I restored a chair I found in the garbage. I'm a beginner woodworker, and I think it turned out very nice, all things considered!
- End table freshly oiled and waxed. My first attempt at a traditional piece of furniture... how’d I do?
- #dailydovetail number 38 - my best ever effort!
- I was commissioned to make a retiring US Navy Senior Chief Petty Officer's shadow box. The felt board is not complete because he is still waiting on other components. This was my first one and as I get better, I will make more for the command I work for.
- Dad and I built me a new desk this summer. Cherry slab and cherry/walnut legs/ hardware
- Apparently today is mallet day on r/woodworking.
- My deck stairs were falling apart, so I built some new ones. Cut everything myself, even the stringers. As an amateur who’s always had a fascination for woodworking, I think they turned out pretty nice!
- My dad and I made a corner table from a live edge slab over the summer
- First project I’m really proud of / Entry table
- Wine barrel staves bar stool. Maybe nothing but I'm happy with the result
- Daughter wanted a purple hammer. Second one I've made
- First thing I’ve ever built! My Grandfather taught me everything as we built it, also learned that half the day can be dedicated to just making the damn thing level
- Fiddleback Myrtle Carving - this is my first time ever posting on Reddit! I've been using Instagram for years but now I'm thinking about transitioning more towards Reddit. Should I? Instagram: @generate_art
- We built this shed from scratch, dog not included :) OC
- Paint risers & trim white or stain
- My first build for my first home. Proud of it but definitely learned some lessons on how to improve for next time!
- Just finished this the other day.
- Took some inspiration from this sub and made an address plaque with some scraps I had in the garage. Happy with the results and learned a lot!
- My first real wood working project, a midcentury style bookshelf with cabinet doors
- Fancy mallet
- Latest addition to my office. Quarter-sawn oak stained Varathane Cognac
- Thank you all for your advice in refinishing my new to me table saw! Project posts made on it are coming soon!
