• I carved this Hellboy cigar holder out of Mahogany
• Something you don't see often here, but woodworking nonetheless. Here's a guitar I'm ready proud of making!
• Nothing like paddling your own canoe.
• I made this bent wood lamp by wrapping a couple layers of thin strips of walnut, maple, and cherry around forms.
• I hand carved this wooden art piece names "Van Goghobolo". 40x26cm basswood & Cocobolo wood Insertion. The name is inspired by the cocobolo grain pattern reminding me of a Van Gogh painting.
• I know that it's not as impressive as some of the post in this sub... But this is my very first project... Made with the help of a jigsaw I saved for. Any tips and criticism is welcomed since I'm trying to be a better carpenter ��
• Pullouts for days
• 2 months later. I decided to go with 4 leg electronic lift.
• First time ive ever painted a woodworing project, really loved it :)
• Cats scratched this table leg for decades to reveal its true form.
• Made a bookshelf for my comics and video games, haven't made anything since I graduated high school a couple years ago...what do you think?
• I know its not perfect but i'm really proud of the jewerly box i made for my girlfriend for christmas
• My pandemic project: a red-oak double dog crate with barn doors. Completed with basic power tools and a portable workbench during my toddlers weekend nap times for the past 7 weeks.
• I apprentice at a mandolin shop; spent a full year of happy hour time constructing myself a ukulele on the side. Threw a low-g on there and it sounds like magic. Super proud of it--except for the two mistakes only I can see, but that will haunt me forever.
• I upcycled a dresser into a microwave stand. Pics in the comments!
• Carved and hollowed out a heart from basswood, then filled it with blue colored resin. Now working on a stand for it
• I'm a hobbyist woodworker, but also a huge comics nerd so I made myself a wooden Mjolnir (Thor's hammer). Details in the first comment!
• Boss told me to have fun and make it look good. Chechen in oak.
• I'm 18, I've been obsessed with handmade projectile launching weapons since I was about 6. This is my newest build. Build and demo video in comments.
• I'm so happy I finally built a dining table for my house
• Done the cutting boards for Christmas gifts. Hope people like them. Walnut, Wenge, Cherry, Paduk, Poplar, and a little Jatoba.
• I made a lamp that I’m pretty proud of.
• My father-in-law loves the squirrels in his backyard more than anything, his handsome son-in-law included. I’m hopeful this gift will help tip the scales in my favor
• Tried to teach my buddy how to cut dovetails today, some minor room for improvement but I think he nailed it
