    People say white oak is better (it is) but this red oak slab might be an exception. My dads mill in Asheville NC has been turning out some nice stuff.

    My dad has gotten into some hobby-level carpentry in the past few years, and I finally had the time to get into a real project with him. The finished product feels just as priceless as the quality time I got to spend with him bringing my own vision to life (and better than I expected might I add.)
