- PSA: Lee Valley's Seconds/Black Friday event is early this year
- My first cutting board. Maple, walnut, cherry and wenge.
- Definitely the biggest project I’ve ever done. Solid oak through and through, all locally sourced in the Scottish Highlands
- As part of my recent bedroom renovation I decided to restore this almost 100 year old wardrobe instead of ripping it out and replacing it with something new with much less character. Sometimes old things can still be nice with a bit of work.
- I built a firewood shelter.
- I build patio furniture for my son's first birthday party. First time building any type of furniture other than a couple benches. I'm really happy with how it turned out.
- First dining table I’ve built, made it for a friend. Getting better!
- My Rapunzel cottage is almost done, and it has been a pain in the Burt to build. The round turret intersecting with the gabled roofline was a doozy.
- Update on Robert the WoodBot! Came together rather slowly bc a lot of things didn’t work out the way I’d hoped: bolt joints came lose constantly, dowels were super lose, and joint sizes were too close. But nothing some sanding and Loctite can’t fix Cosmetics will come soon!
- Check out this Jukebox I made from scratch over quarantine!
- Custom made Memorabilia Chest. Maple, white oak and walnut. Custom made leather handles.
- Burl Lake Table - Many Hours But So Worth It
- Norwood sawmill
- First wood project since college, wanted to show off
- Record Cabinet made out of Walnut. My friend wanted to upgrade from their Ikea shelf. This is the first piece of furniture I built for someone outside of my family.
- Hey I built this thing
- I saw a wooden sperm whale online and thought the tail would make a great mouthpiece on a pipe, so I made a sperm whale pipe!
- Solid Cherry bedroom set with shaker and craftsman’s influences
- My wife said get a hobby so I tried working with wood. Used only a dremel. Not the best but I'm proud of it! Any tips going forward? I had a blast and definitely want to do more.
- I built a quilt rack for my grandma, used pine with a nice light light cherry stain. First bigger project :)
- Purpleheart/Maple Table built by me. Started woodworking in August and its my 4th project.
- Seen some same exact coffee tables, thought I would share my mine
- Just finished this maple/walnut end grain cutting board. 16”x24” x1.75”
- Fish
- Here’s a really small plant
PSA: Lee Valley's Seconds/Black Friday event is early this year Posted: 23 Oct 2020 05:11 PM PDT We're coming up on the Holiday season and I know many of us will be looking for deals. Lee Valley normally does a Cyber Monday Sale with tools marked down quite a bit, but this year it appears that they are holding it at the end of October instead. Please plan accordingly and feel free to spread the word. I'd hate for someone to be planning on the Cyber Monday event only to come up with nothing. Have a nice weekend everyone!
