PSA: Lee Valley's Seconds/Black Friday event is early this year

We're coming up on the Holiday season and I know many of us will be looking for deals. Lee Valley normally does a Cyber Monday Sale with tools marked down quite a bit, but this year it appears that they are holding it at the end of October instead.

Please plan accordingly and feel free to spread the word. I'd hate for someone to be planning on the Cyber Monday event only to come up with nothing.

    Have a nice weekend everyone!

As part of my recent bedroom renovation I decided to restore this almost 100 year old wardrobe instead of ripping it out and replacing it with something new with much less character. Sometimes old things can still be nice with a bit of work.

My Rapunzel cottage is almost done, and it has been a pain in the Burt to build. The round turret intersecting with the gabled roofline was a doozy.

Update on Robert the WoodBot! Came together rather slowly bc a lot of things didn’t work out the way I’d hoped: bolt joints came lose constantly, dowels were super lose, and joint sizes were too close. But nothing some sanding and Loctite can’t fix Cosmetics will come soon!
