• Outcome of the kids bench rebuild for my daughters class
• Voltron Yellow Lion in style of Maneki neko ‘Lucky Cat’. 22” tall of walnut, maple, and cherry.
• Wanted a better desk for working from home. This was by far the hardest thing I’ve made. Inspired by (ripped off?) a mid century design I saw online.
• Tried my hand at making a liquor dispenser out of this old log I found. I did NOT plumb it very well on top so it leaked but I think I can dial that in on my next one.
• Curly maple bookshelf
• Working on a hollow surfboard with bio resin, reclaimed redwood, bay laurel and spruce, and old skateboard decks.
• Probably not everyone’s cup of tea, but really pleased with the juxtaposition of the sharp clean lines of the box, texture in the lid, and flowing curves of the base and handle.
• My final school project. Cherry and claro walnut "Armour" featuring hand cut dovetails on the top drawer and finger joints cut on the table saw. Completed in 55 hours.
• I’ve always wanted to work with wood. First project. Don’t be cruel ����
• My girlfriend is a teacher and Monday some kids will be going back to class so I made her this Teacher Barrier
• I always wanted to make a instrument. So I tried my hand at an ukulele.
• Present for my parents' birthdays/anniversary. Fun challenge doing bent wood. Red oak and walnut.
• Sure it's a simple Walnut Circle. But it's my first time resawing, using a self designed Circle jig for the bandsaw and getting more experiencing doing a rubbed finish.
• While my parents played with their grandchildren they ignored me totally. So i carved a spoon.
• I made flooring from slices of trees. 1.5in thick, dried for 1 month then glued to subfloor, rough sanded, 2 coats of poly then poured colored self leveling concrete in between.
• It's not much, but it's honest. A simple ring.
• Just noticed this cool adjustable shelf design from the china cabinet in my 1916 craftsman house.
• Hickory dummy coffin. My 9-year-old accidentally maimed a chipmunk, services are tomorrow at 9 AM. RIP Chippie.
• Finished this off tonight. A live edge Ash bench with Robin egg blue hairpins. I know live edge and hairpins have been done to death, but this is a wedding gift for some friends, so I made what they wanted. In case anyone is curious, the finish is hand rubbed urethane polished with beeswax.
• I actually made something! I’ve only been working on it since July, and there are still things I wish I could fix... but I did it!! Happy wine and booze cabinet day to me!
• Display case I made for some of my cards.
• Workbench coming along
• Just finished this Hall Tree with my nephew (pictured). It will be stained at a later date.
