    And it’s done...... first attempt at anything of this caliber, and I’ll say, im frigging satisfied as shit. Need to let the varnish gas off before a final polish, but I couldn’t wait to get this out among the internets.

    Just finished my first project! Never cut any wood before starting this. It's a little rough in some spots, but it's stable and sturdy! Felt good to finish it. Hoping to continuing honing the craft.

    My brother and I started this flag pole in Doug Fir on July 28th. Today it came to life. Flying an American flag at 5x8 up top. New Hampshire, Vermont, Virgin Islands and Maine state on the Yardarms. These projects don’t come along everyday.
