Wood working Last Oct I retired from the Air Force after 20 years. In June of this year We purchased our retirement home. After 20 years I can finally start a hobby and I chose woodworking. Today I built a couple benches so I can organize my tools. One is on wheels for portability.

• I hand carved a wooden Jolteon for my friend!
• First one in the books. Can only get better from here, right?
• 3 coats of varnish really made this walnut pop
• First ‘major’ project here, knocked it out last weekend. Really took my time with it and made each joint as perfect as possible. Learned a lot and pretty stoked about it.
• Cherry Nintendo Switch Case Pokemon Theme
• I made a lamp thing
• LEGO workbench for my son. (Build album in comments)
• The Phoenix wooden art in progress. Made from layers of hardwood plywood and an oak veneer. Really stoked with this! What do you think?
• Super proud of my husband’s newest project! Cornhole boards with a scoreboard and cup holders!
• Small Master Closet Shelving I Built for a Customer
• A dice box I made
• First ever woodworking project. Built my one year old a bookshelf. Mistakes were made, but I learned a lot.
• Friend and I crafted our second piece of furniture - the first being the shop table to work on. :)
• My first ever live edge project turned out well I think.
• UPDATE: My fiancée has been looking at beds, thought I'd surprise her with one as a wedding present....and she loved it!! Thank you all for the advice!!

• Came across this while out walking, pains me a little inside to see so much walnut used as firewood
• This bench design is one of those projects that got me interested in the hobby, and I finally felt confident enough to make my own. Don't let your dreams be dreams, or something like that.

• Live edge coffee table with walnut base
• A reclaimed wood rabbit hutch for a 9 yr old boy. They are going to be his first pets.
