    The original is made with an 800-year-old Japanese zelkova that grew in Daitokuji temple in Kyoto. The climate of Kyoto with its distinct four seasons grows beautiful trees.

    I am a builder and use chainsaws occasionally on the job. I really wanted to get into carving with just a saw this year and this is my first go at a bird bath. Live in Montana so went with that. Next one will be a trout jumping out. My 3rd trout actually looked good. Just started
