    Living in a remote town in Australia means I need to travel to have my thicknesser blades sharpened or replaced... Decided to have a go at sharpening them myself! It worked out well!!!

    Shop redo update. Finished the surfaces: half inch MDF then Pressboard. Mad at myself for already littering it with tools. Gotta make some pegboard and French cleats to get tools on the wall. Oh also put in that beast beam and took the bounce outta the floor upstairs.

    Had a couple of rockers & their slings were rotted & tearing, so I rehabbed with some 3/4" cedar. Used self-drilling lath screws & finished with 3 coats of satin spar varnish. Got the inspiration here: https://www.instructables.com/id/Patio-Chair-Re-build/

    Made this potting shelf for my mom’s birthday! I used Poplar, finished with boiled Linseed oil, and decorative iron pipe.

    A small selection of things that my son has made over the last 2 year on the lathe. he is seven in June and has been using it with help, until recently. First thing he made was the roofs for his sisters fairy village, then the wands.. Lots of other bits have been made but given as gifts.
