    I started making these geometric grids about six months ago as a hobby. I know this isn't as spectacular as the other pieces I see on this sub, but I finally made one I'm proud enough to share. It is inlaid with the constellation patterns of Scorpio and Sagittarius.

    Picked up this stack of lumber from my mother-in-law’s late boyfriend’s estate. He was a professional woodworker. This was barely a fraction of the wood he had. I’m planning on building her something out of this beautiful material to remind her of him and his passion for woodworking.
